Mirror mirror...

He just stood there. Right in the middle of the road, well not exactly in the middle but not at the sides either, you get the picture right?Peculiar behavior in the Nairobi CBD traffic. We are on the move kinda people,you don't just stop to admire the buildings or whatever. He had been pulling a cart full of water jerricans. They looked very full of water, I bet they were very heavy to be pushing around in traffic while also trying to dodge the ruthless drivers. I also bet he was not a day older than twenty five. He actually looked like he was 20, I assumed. I also assumed he'd had it rough in life. He must have had it rough, otherwise he would be living the dream, driving one of those cars he was standing next to. That's what happiness is to us,no?             There are days that drain the life out of you. Maybe it's because you woke up 10 mins later than your alarm, or remember those dishes you promised to wash before you slept? Yeah, you didn't. You probably shouldn't have told mum that a group assignment is what made you stay out late on Tuesday. Whatever the case, the universe has it out for you today. There is no motivation to do anything. Probably just staying in bed entertaining yourself with some of dejavu's posts will do. God forbid anyone wants to see you today. It's a bad day. It becomes worse when a bad day turns into a bad week. Then a month full of really shitty days, that's the only word you have to describe these past days, shit. It really can't be about those dishes anymore, you apologized for that already.
